Ronald D. Blonder, D.O., FACC

Dr. Ronald Blonder was recently recognized at Memorial Hospital as Doctor of the Month "for having a great focused patient approach on the patient and providing education combined with compassion for staff and patients".
He was born in Chicago, IL, but grew up in Miami, Florida. He attended college at the University of Miami graduating in 1968 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1972. Dr. Blonder completed internship and residency programs at the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed Advanced Arrhythmias training at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL in 1976 and his Cardiovascular Fellowship at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, MI in 1977. Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiology, Touro University, College of Osteopathic Medicine."
His special interest is in interventional cardiology to include angioplasty, stent and laser angioplasty. Dr. Blonder is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiology, Touro University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, he is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He was one of the Founders of both the Colorado and Colorado Springs Osteopathic Associations. He is the current Medical Director of the Pikes Peak Cardiology Cath Lab. Ron and his wife Beth are the owners of the Red Creek Ranch Alpaca. |
