Brandon Smith, PA-C a Michigan native, grew up in Bellaire, a small resort town in beautiful northern Michigan.  His collegiate career began in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he completed his Bachelors degree in biology and chemistry at Grand Valley State University in 2000 He later went on to receive his Masters of Science in Medicine, a Physician Assistant degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2007.

It was during these years, he married his lovely wife, Jamie, and was joined five years later by their son, Mason. In the summer of 2007, his family transitioned from Michigan to their new home in Colorado Springs and joined Pikes Peak Cardiology.

His recreational interests include participating in and viewing many sporting events including basketball, golf, football, camping, running, and snow skiing.
