Ted E. Eastburn, M.D., FACC

Dr. Ted Eastburn earned his certification by the North American Society for Pacing and Electrophysiology to strengthen his specialty of implanting cardiac devices. He is a leader in Interventional Cardiology at Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Eastburn grew up in Memphis, TN. He graduated from Rhodes College (now known as Southwestern) in Memphis in 1976 with a degree in Chemistry. He graduated from Vanderbilt Medical School in Nashville, TN in 1980 and entered the United States Army, completing his Internal Medicine training at Tripler Army Base, in Hawaii. He then relocated to Fort Carson, CO for two years as an Internist. After separating from the Army in 1985, Dr. Eastburn returned to Nashville, TN where he trained in Cardiology at Vanderbilt. He is presently on faculty at the Health Sciences Center, University of Colorado. His sub-specialty training is in transplantation and heart failure and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Eastburn joined Pikes Peak Cardiology in 1991. He has an interest in cycling and photography, and served as a member of the City Council in Colorado Springs. |
