David I. Greenberg, M.D., FACC

Dr. David Greenberg was honored by patients, family members, fellow physicians and Memorial Hospital Staff for his knowledge in patient centered care, compassion and excellent communication skills.  "A perfect physician for any family in need" was a direct quote from a patient survey at the hospital. 

Dr. David Greenberg was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended college at Alfred University, NY graduating in 1966 with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He received his Medical Degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1970 and continued his training in the U.S. Army at Walter Reed General Hospital in Washington, D.C. After completing his internship and residency programs, Dr. Greenberg continued at Walter Reed General Hospital to complete his Fellowship in Cardiology in 1976. He was subsequently transferred to Ft. Carson, CO from 1976 to 1978 as Chief of Cardiology. Dr. Greenberg is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology as well as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He specializes as an interventionalist. He has a keen interest in wellness and prevention.

Dr. Greenberg and his wife Paulette have two grown sons. Dr. and Mrs. Greenberg are very active in the Colorado Springs community in professional and volunteer capacities. David and Paulette are the recipients of the Temple Shalom Humanitarian Award. The Greenberg Center of Tolerance and Learning has been established in their name.
