Doctor Chris Kim joined Pikes Peak Cardiology in September 2005 and rejoins the practice this July. He is an invasive cardiologist, board certified in nuclear cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Chris matriculated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1993. He also completed his residency at Baptist Health Systems, Birmingham, Alabama in 1997 followed by a position as Chief Medical Resident. He completed his fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2001 and was Chief Fellow 2000-2001. After fellowship, Chris was a partner in Cardiovascular Associates, Birmingham, Alabama.

Chris's family emigrated from South Korea and settled in Birmingham, Alabama. His father was also a physician. Chris is married to Tamara. They have three children, Nicholas, Alex and Victoria. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys race car competition. His attraction to Colorado Springs was his focus on lifestyle and family.
