Nancy L Lundy, M.S.N., A-NP-C

Nancy was born in Seaford, New York and attended Island Trees High School.
She moved to Colorado Springs in 1987 with her family. She began her nursing education at Pikes Peak Community College, graduating in 1995 with her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. She worked for Memorial Hospital until 1998 when she moved to Pikes Peak Cardiology to work as an RN for Dr Ted Eastburn. Over the next 6 years she enrolled in Regis University at night to earn her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Nursing from Beth-El college of Nursing at UCCS. She began practicing as a Nurse Practitioner at Pikes Peak Cardiology in 2004. Nancy owes her success in completing her studies as a full-time nurse and single parent with the support she received from PPC, Dr Eastburn and her faith in God.

Currently Nancy has a free cardiology clinic at the Mission Medical Clinic where she sees patients with out insurance once a month. She also hosts a support group for people with heart failure once a month at Pikes Peak Cardiology called the Healthy Hearts Support group. This group meets the first Monday of every month at noon and is open to new members. Please contact PPC for more information.

Nancy has a special interest in both Heart Failure and Preventative Medicine.
She attends conferences for these special interests annually. She received her formal heart failure training at St Luke's Mid-American Heart Institute in December 2003. Dr Ted Eastburn, at PPC, who is a well-known heart failure specialist, mentored her.
Nancy's professional affiliations include Colorado Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association, and Heart Failure Society of America.
Nancy sees patients in clinic as well as supervising testing at Memorial Hospital and assisting with hospital coverage.

Nancy enjoys camping, hiking "14ers" with her husband Jim, traveling, working out and spending time with her family including her 6 beautiful grandchildren.
