James B. Miller, M.D., FACP

Pikes Peak Cardiology would like to Thank Dr. Miller for all his service and commitment.  Dr. Miller started with Pikes Peak Cardiology in September 1986, and after 23 years of hard work and dedication, Dr. Miller has decided it was time to retire from Pikes Peak Cardiology.  He will be greatly missed and we wish him nothing but the best!

James (J.B.) Miller, M.D. was born in Los Angeles, graduated from UCLA. He received his PhD in Medical Genetics at the National Institute of Health at the University of Uppsala, Sweden in 1963. Dr. Miller completed his Medical Degree in 1965 at the University of Southern California. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Miller entered active duty with the United States Air Force, serving in the Air Force from coast-to-coast to Vietnam. Internal medicine and cardiology training were done at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio between 1966 and 1970. Upon completion of the tour in Vietnam, Dr. Miller was assigned at the US Air Force Academy Hospital. He left active duty in 1976, continuing on in the Reserves for another 16 years to total 30 years of service. From 1996 through the present, Dr. Miller has been in the private practice of cardiology. Doctor Miller specializes in invasive cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Miller and his wife, Marilyn, have three children and six grandchildren. Dr. Miller's hobbies are bicycling, walking, reading, and hockey.
