James B. Miller, M.D., FACP

James (J.B.) Miller, M.D. was born in Los Angeles, graduated from UCLA. He received his PhD in Medical Genetics at the National Institute of Health at the University of Uppsala, Sweden in 1963. Dr. Miller completed his Medical Degree in 1965 at the University of Southern California. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Miller entered active duty with the United States Air Force, serving in the Air Force from coast-to-coast to Vietnam. Internal medicine and cardiology training were done at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio between 1966 and 1970. Upon completion of the tour in Vietnam, Dr. Miller was assigned at the US Air Force Academy Hospital. He left active duty in 1976, continuing on in the Reserves for another 16 years to total 30 years of service. From 1996 through the present, Dr. Miller has been in the private practice of cardiology. Doctor Miller specializes in invasive cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Miller and his wife, Marilyn, have three children and six grandchildren. Dr. Miller's hobbies are bicycling, walking, reading, and hockey. |
