Jonathan Sherman, M.D., FACC

Dr. Jonathan Sherman grew up in Denver, CO where he graduated from Cherry Creek High School. From there he moved to Chapel Hill where he received his undergraduate degree with honors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Sherman then attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine where he completed his medical degree and a two year research fellowship. He remained in Denver for internship and residency training and moved to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire to complete both his General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology training.
Dr. Sherman has been with Pikes Peak Cardiology since 2007 and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. As an Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Sherman specializes in treatment of complex coronary artery disease, particularly chronic total occlusions. He also brings expertise in the evaluation and management of patients with atrial septal defects and patent foramen ovale. He currently serves as the Quality Committee Chairman for Memorial Health System, overseeing programs throughout the Hospital and Cardiology to further improve patient care.
Dr. Sherman married his college sweetheart Joanne and together they have two sons, Jake and Max. His hobbies and interests include ice hockey, fly fishing, skiing, and hiking.
