How can I schedule or cancel an appointment?
The clinic opens at 7:30 for diagnostic testing, i.e. echoes, treadmills, nuclear testing; Appointments may be made by calling 719-635-7172 from 8:30AM-5:00PM., Monday through Friday. You will receive the first available scheduling time. If you need to reschedule, we would appreciate a 24 hours notice as a courtesy to other patients and our staff.

What is a Nurse Practitioner?
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse who has received specialized training in diagnosing and treating illnesses and is licensed as an independent practitioner. Our nurse practitioner has received both a Bachelors and Masters degree in nursing with additional training as an NP. Nurse Practitioners specialize in a number of pediatric and adult medicine disciplines including cardiology.

How do I get prescriptions and refills?
If you need a new prescription, we will be happy to call it in to your pharmacy of choice. If you need a prescription refill, please have your pharmacist call us directly during office hours. Please call your pharmacy one week before you are out of medicine for a refill.

What should I do in the event of an emergency?
We are always available in case of a cardiac emergency. Call 911 for life threatening emergencies or our office any time of the day or night for emergency concerns at 719-635-7172.

What are the payment policies for medical services?
Payments for co-insurance and co-payments are due at registration for all scheduled services. Payment may be made in the form of cash, check or credit card. If necessary, payment plans may be negotiated.
