A renowned cardiology practice, the cardiac team at Pikes Peak Cardiology provides quality, comprehensive, and compassionate medical services for the community of the Pikes Peak Region.
Pikes Peak Cardiology, comprised of thirteen cardiologists, two nurse practitioners, and one physician assistant, is the largest and most innovative adult cardiology practice in Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado. The Practice provides services at both Memorial and Penrose Hospitals. It is the only practice to provide an onsite interventional cardiologist at Memorial Hospital during business hours to manage acute cardiac events. It employs a support staff in excess of 100 personnel.
Pikes Peak Cardiology was the first cardiology practice in Colorado Springs to offer internet technology (Paceart) to evaluate patients with implantable cardiac devices, Heart Catheterization in an ambulatory setting, clinical research trials, and Enhanced External CounterPulsation (EECP). Pikes Peak Cardiology collaborates with the only Diagnostic Center in the western United States certified by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography, Nuclear and Vascular Laboratories. Because of its stellar clinical reputation, Pikes Peak Cardiology has been awarded Directorships of Invasive Cardiology, the Cardiac Evaluation Center, the Critical Care Units and the Cardiac Quality Assurance Program at Memorial Hospital.
